The penultimate round of the second Superstar Racing Experience season took the series to Pevely, Missouri’s Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, and brought with it one of the biggest shakeups of the season. A week off of his first feature win in Nashville, Bobby Labonte found himself a part of the final wreck of the night and outside of the top 10, while Tony Stewart extended his perfect record on the dirt in the six-week all-star series and Marco Andretti scored his third straight runner-up finish.

When Bobby Labonte took the checkered flag in Saturday night’s Superstar Racing Experience race from Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, he didn’t just become the fourth different winner of the 2022 season. He also took over the series points lead from fellow NASCAR Cup Series lifer Ryan Newman, who himself had taken his first SRX win the week before at Stafford Motor Speedway.

The second season of the Superstar Racing Experience kicks off this weekend with a refreshed driver and track lineup across its six-race 2022 schedule.
