Sweden’s Olsbergs MSE has long been recognized as one of the most innovative teams in rallycross, building the FC1-X car that Nitro Rallycross uses for its premier Group E level. It should be no surprise, then, that OMSE’s Oliver and Kevin Eriksson have taken the two NRX checkered flags in Canada, with Kevin on top at Stampede Park in Calgary.

The penultimate round of the 2022-23 Nitro Rallycross season keeps the series in Canada, but the setting and the entry lists will be a little different. After the Group E FC1-X made its NRX debut on ice in Trois-Rivieres two weekends ago, the series heads west to Calgary for another oval-based round at Stampede Park, and welcomes back the NRX Next development class as its primary support act.

Pastrana, Larsson Become First Nitro Rallycross Group E Repeat Winners at Wild Horse Pass
He might not be leading the Nitro Rallycross Group E standings, but Vermont SportsCar’s Travis Pastrana added a new title to go with his status as the series founder and inaugural Supercar champion over the weekend: its first repeat race winner. Pastrana took top honors in the first leg of the doubleheader at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park on Friday night, while points leader Robin Larsson of Dreyer & Reinbold Racing/JC Raceteknik returned to the top step himself in the Sunday round.
