Tomac, Lawrence Conquer Sands of Southwick as Pro Motocross Hits Halfway Point
Monster Energy Star Yamaha’s Eli Tomac and Team Honda HRC’s Jett Lawrence, as they so often have been this season, were the class of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross field on Saturday as the series returned to The Wick 338 MX in Southwick, Massachusetts. Tomac scored his third straight victory in the 450 class, while Lawrence took his fifth in six tries, as the series hit its halfway point in a thrilling 2022 season.
Big Wins For Championship Front-Runners at NHRA New England Nationals
Three of the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series’ top drivers took home Wallys in Sunday’s sold-out New England Nationals at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire. Top Fuel driver Mike Salinas took second in class points after a thrilling duel with Justin Ashley, while Matt Hagan and Erica Enders took the Funny Car and Pro Stock wins over Robert Hight and Aaron Stanfield, respectively.
Kawasaki Riders Sweep Supercross in Foxborough; Lawrence Locks Up 250 East
Jason Anderson and Austin Forkner completed a Monster Energy Kawasaki sweep at Gillette Stadium, as the duo took the 450 and 250 East feature wins in the third-to-last Monster Energy Supercross rounds of the season on Saturday afternoon. In the process, Jett Lawrence locked up his first indoor title on the 250s, while Eli Tomac’s bid for a second crown will have to wait a week longer.
