Jim Beaver eSports drivers Malik Ray and Garrett Lowe are ready to do battle in the 12th round of the 2023 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series tonight, as the championship heads to Nashville Superspeedway. Coverage kicks off at 8:30PM ET with Countdown to Green, before the green flag itself falls at 9PM ET.
Ray’s #7 Ford Mustang will welcome Smyrna, Tennessee’s Gossett Bus Lines as primary sponsor for the event. Gossett Bus Lines has been a long-serving sponsor of sim racers competing in many of iRacing’s top-level events, and will be a primary sponsor of JBES for the first time at Nashville after joining the team earlier this year. After captivating the eNASCAR world with last year’s paint scheme of the year, a throwback to Travis Pastrana’s 2013 NASCAR ride, JBES painter Matt Kalish has gone all-out to put the Gossett Bus Lines machine on the front lines of this year’s discussion with an attention-grabbing bus-themed paint.
Gossett Bus Lines serves as an independent school bus contractor for Rutherford County Schools with routes in the Smyrna and LaVergne areas, just southeast of Nashville. The company is now hiring drivers—message them on Facebook or call 615.785.2128 for more information!
JBES enters Nashville with both drivers in the top 15 in series points. Ray currently occupies the 10th and final spot on the playoff grid with an eight-point advantage over his next-closest competition, having taken four top-five finishes and six top 10s in the first 11 rounds. Lowe has been on a recent hot streak to climb to 15th in points, with one top-five, four top 10s, and a pole. The duo have combined to lead 73 laps this season and has the team fifth in team championship points, just three markers behind fourth place.
