With both of its drivers battling for an eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series playoff spot, Jim Beaver eSports will crank up the intensity to 199 for Tuesday night’s regular season finale at Darlington Raceway. Drivers Michael Guest and Blake Reynolds will run paint schemes honoring action sports legend, Nitro Circus founder, and NASCAR driver Travis Pastrana with two of the most iconic paint schemes from his stock car career.

“Back at the beginning of the season, we had joked a little bit about what we could really do to stand out at Darlington, and Travis’ paint schemes came up,” said team owner Jim Beaver. “After Blake and Michael put us in contention for both the teams’ championship and playoff spots all season long, we knew they deserved a pair of throwback cars that matched those efforts. Travis is a great friend of mine who innovates wherever he goes, and I’m thrilled to pay tribute to two of the most memorable paint schemes in NASCAR with the boys at Darlington on Tuesday night!”

Pastrana and Beaver have a long-standing friendship, with Pastrana appearing multiple times on the Down & Dirty Show and in the Jim Beaver eSports eShort Course World Cup on the CBS Sports Network. They also raced together at Best in the Desert Vegas to Reno in 2017, as part of Beaver’s cutting-edge Star Car UTV race program that brought action sports stars and celebrities to desert racing. As an off-road esports team, Jim Beaver eSports is the most dominant organization on iRacing, taking up more than half of the top 10 points positions and eight of the 24 grid spots in the inaugural iRacing Off-Road Championship on the strength of Connor Barry’s title win, and maintaining a strong presence in both rallycross and hillclimb events alongside its eShort Course league.

Guest’s #9 Big Green Egg Ford Mustang will feature an ode to Pastrana’s first-ever NASCAR paint scheme, the Boost Mobile car that made its debut in 2011 in what is now known as the ARCA Menards Series East and West. As with its real counterpart, the paint features a mosaic pattern and silhouette of Pastrana’s signature #199 on each side, with a 9 on each side highlighted in lime green. Guest sits 14th in points with four top-five and seven top-10 finishes, and will be looking for his first win of the season to advance to the playoffs.

Reynolds’ #15 General Tire Ford, meanwhile, will be wrapped in the iconic yellow, blue, and pink “DANGER” paint scheme that he raced for RFK Racing in the 2013 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. That season started with two top-10s in the first three events, and ended with a top-15 points finish at season’s end. Reynolds, meanwhile, is one of three drivers within six points of one another battling for the final playoff spot on points, but can also clinch his place in the postseason with a victory.
