Team Vision Wheel in Action at Vegas to Reno, Bark River, SRRS

The second weekend in August puts off-road wheels to the test like almost no other on the annual motorsport calendar, and Team Vision Wheel is up for this weekend’s challenge. Whether it’s desert racing, short course, or even rock racing, Vision athletes are set to demonstrate industry-leading capability and reliability all weekend long from some of the biggest events in their respective disciplines.

The action kicks off on Thursday and Friday with Vegas to Reno, one of Best in the Desert’s crown jewel events, as racers take on the state of Nevada in one of the most grueling point-to-point races in North America. Vision’s deep roster of athletes taking part is headlined by a deep field of UTV Trophy Unlimited entries, including Wayne and Kristen Matlock, Jim Beaver, Russell Bowers, and Raceco’s Jamie Campbell. The entry list also includes former Vegas to Reno winner Phil Blurton and the duo of Jeff Bader and Dan Fresh in UTV Turbo Pro, 6100 racer Chad Dohrman, Raceco’s Mikey Sandoval and Eliott Watson teaming up in the UTV NA Pro division, UTV Super Stock standout Mitchell Alsup, and the TrophyLite class.

From there, the action shifts to the upper peninsula of Michigan on Saturday and Sunday, as Bark River International Raceway hosts the penultimate event of the 2022 Championship Off-Road season. CJ Greaves continues his quest for multiple championships as the Pro 4 points leader and Pro Stock SXS runner-up, while Keegan Kincaid enters the weekend having won three of the past four Pro 2 races at the track. They’ll be joined by names like Johnny Greaves, Andrew Carlson, Ryan Beat, Gray Leadbetter, Pleasant Cook, Bikeman Performance, and Race Driven on the grid, as the team looks to stockpile trophies and build momentum before the season finale from Crandon on Labor Day weekend.

If all that wasn’t enough to follow, Scott Goforth will add rock racing to the team’s weekend schedule in Southern Rock Racing Series action from Hawk Pride Offroad in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Goforth will be in action all day Saturday for his second event at the season, taking on his first course at 9:30AM and second course at 1PM that day.
