Gear up for events from the biggest series in action motorsports with our weekend preview of the most exciting races in the world! From the premier open-wheel circuits in the world to both two and four-wheel events in the dirt, check in here each week to find out who’s running up front and how to watch.

Supercross at Seattle (Saturday, 10PM ET, USA)

Lumen Field plays host to the 12th round of the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross season, and a return to action for the 250SX West division as they rejoin the 450SX pros in Seattle. The 250s will see Christian Craig enter Saturday night with a full race’s worth of points in hand on Michael Mosiman, and Hunter Lawrence nipping on Mosiman’s heels at one point back of second. The separation had been much smaller until Anaheim 3, with both riders on every podium up to that point, when Craig took the victory as Lawrence crashed out and finished a disappointing 18th.

The 450 title chase remains firmly within Eli Tomac’s hands as well, as his advantage is up to nearly two races on Jason Anderson and Justin Barcia. The premier points battle in the top division is for second; Barcia took a three-point penalty for on-track incidents in Indianapolis to draw him back three points to Anderson’s level, while Malcolm Stewart is just two points back of them both in fourth.

F1 at Saudi Arabia (Sunday, 12:55PM ET, ESPN)

Had last Sunday’s results from the Bahrain Grand Prix occurred in the 2021 season, they would have appeared downright bizarre. But the first race of a new set of regulations opened with Ferrari’s first 1-2 result in three years, as Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz kicked off the campaign on the top two steps of the podium, while Lewis Hamilton’s chase for an eighth title began with a surprise podium after late-race fuel system issues for both Red Bull drivers that robbed Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez of strong points hauls. If that wasn’t enough to digest, Kevin Magnussen’s return to the series and Haas ended with a top five!

The series now heads back to Jeddah, which moves from one of the last rounds of the 2021 season to an early round of 2022. Overshadowing the event as of Friday practice was an attack on an oil refinery near the circuit, with some drivers commenting on a burning smell. While the second practice session has been delayed, there has been no indication that the race will be affected as of press time (1:30PM ET Friday).
